On a few select pages you'll see "Project Wonderful" placeholders. Those are probably the same pages that led you here. Project Wonderful gets an exemption from my "no ads" rule of thumb because I am impressed with the innovation they have going on.
The Project Wonderful bits are placeholders at the moment because the system is in a period of controlled growth. I'm in one of those, too, so I don't mind waiting.
There aren't many as on this site. And as long as you don't turn fanatic and break my monthly bandwidth, I'd like to keep it that way. My primary reason for having this website isn't to make money.
Little bits of income from games and crafty things are nice, and I like the financial recognition of coolness, but I write and create because I like writing and creating, not to pay rent.
Creativity to pay the bills comes a few years down the line. For now, I'm happy with my creativity paying for a few minutes in a dark room with my muse.
And books.

I'm not trying to make a statement about advertising and the internet, I just want to a) keep control over what's displayed on my webspace, b) keep things simple, and c) focus more on making connections with people than anything too business-related.
